We are looking for the Hospitality Marketing Expert of Berlin. A do-it-all, solve-it-all and make-it-happen kind of marketeer. One that loves marketing, especially when it happens in hospitality.

Typhoon Hospitality is an international marketing & communication agency specialized in the hospitality, travel & spirits industries. With our international network and local expertise, we help our clients to increase their visibility and awareness in the media (print & online), neighborhood (activations & events) and on social media (content creation & influencer marketing). Our international team of creative mind uses its extensive industry knowledge to tailor-make strategies and effective campaigns. Always working toward measurable goals backing up our creativity with data to measure the ROI.

The Hospitality Marketing Expert will be working independently yet closely with the international teams. We’re still a start-up in Berlin while, on the other hand, we have an extensive team of hospitality PR, marketing & social media experts in The Netherlands and Belgium.

Job Description & Responsibilities

You're the go to (wo)man to advise clients on how to reach potential guests through our marketing services
Together with the PR and social media manager you develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives
Manage and optimize online and offline marketing channels, including setting up ambassadorships, events, programming & partnerships. As well as e-mail & content marketing
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities
You build, manage, and leverage the relationships with our clients
You support with pitches and sales initiatives
Measure and analyze marketing performance to track ROI and optimize strategies

SKILLSET

A bachelor’s degree in marketing or hotel/ hospitality management
At least three to five years of relevant marketing experience in the hospitality industry, a marketing role within a hotel or restaurant (chain) is preferred
A creative & strategic mind with problem-solving skills
Understands the world of PR and social media (we have a dedicated PR and social media manager, nevertheless understanding the added value is crucial)
Fluent in both German and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Entrepreneurial spirit and on top of hospitality trends & developments
Not easily bent out of shape by changes
You know who’s who in the hospitality industry
Unconditional love for everything hospitality, food & drinks related
